Night at the Museum
Have you ever seen the skeletons in the Whale Hall shining out of the dark? Ever wondered what the Museum might look like when the lights are turned off? On Wednesday evening, we welcome you to this year’s «Night at the Museum» in the Natural History Collections. Keep in mind that during the winter school holiday you can also visit the daytime events, the medal workshop and Doctor Proctor, at the Cultural History Collections.
Main content
Time: Wednesday 27 February, 18.00-21.00
Location: The Natural History Collections, Muséplass 3
We invite young and old alike to an exciting experience in the Natural History Collections. The Museum opens its doors to the public that evening and the lights will be off. Go hunting in the exhibitions, search for an activity sheet and win a prize.
Medals and Doctor Proctor at the Cultural History Collections
Do not forget that you can also create a medal of your own design in the medal workshop at the Cultural History Collections during the winter school holiday, which would fit the bill for the current Ski World Championship. At the same location, you will also find the popular Doctor Proctor exhibition of animals you wish didn’t exist. A bit frightening, so it is a good thing you can visit this exhibition during daytime.
Welcome to an exciting winter school holiday week at the University Museum – where there are things going on both during the day and in the late evening.
Admission prices (both buildings): Adults NOK 50, concessionary tickets for senior citizens and people with disabilities NOK 25, students and children FREE
