Policies and rules
The University of Bergen aims to ensure that data resulting from employees’ research activities are prepared and made available for reuse, in accordance with the FAIR principles. This aligns with the national strategy for making research data available and facilitating sharing, and is often a requirement from funders.

Main content
The University's Regulations (Norwegian) contains the most relevant laws and policies for the institution's activities, in addition to overarching regulations and guidelines established by the University Board or approved by the University Leadership. This also includes UiB's Policy for Open Science, which describes the handling and sharing of research data at the institution.
