From studies to society - pedagogical competence in practice

How can knowledge from pedagogy become a valuable tool in working life? This is the core of the course Pedagogical Competence, which this year was awarded the faculty's study quality prize.

Through a combination of critical pedagogical and sociological perspectives - as well as an exploration of current political and social frameworks - students are given the opportunity to reflect on how education and working life are linked. The course has created engagement and awareness of the value of pedagogical competence - not only in the classroom, but also as a strength in a wide range of societal roles.
