Monitoring of CO2 storage using seismic and electromagnetic data

Modification of geophysical monitoring methods, originally developed for petroleum industry, for their use in the underground storage of greenhouse gas

Main content

This is a new project involving specilists from a range research institutions (see www.cipr.uib.no.). The principal aim of the project is to modify geophysical methods of reservoir monitoring that were originally developed for the petroleum industry and are now to be used for the purpose of the underground sequestration of greenhouse gas CO2.
