PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The tectono-stratigraphic evolution of the Gudrun Terrace is studied using 3D seismic reflection data and wells. A series of Wheeler Diagrams are generated by combining thickness maps of syn- and post-rift units and their stratigraphic architecture. The impact of local fault activity on depositional systems story is studied. This study contributes to the understanding of how hanging-wall depocentres evolve from syn- to post-rift, and how this may impact on sedimentary systems.
