SCIENTIFIC FOCUS

Overall aim is to improve understanding of how turbidity currents and the resultant deep-water depositional systems respond to structurally controlled seabed topography. Project based on regionally extensive 3D seismic volumes, integrating seismic stratigraphy and seismic geomorphology with structural analysis and reconstruction. Numerical modelling of the response of turbidity currents to structural topography
