UN Global Compact Norway is the national network of the United Nations Global Compact - the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative, with over 25,500 members across more than 160 countries. The network supports Norwegian companies in embedding responsible and sustainable business practices across the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, spanning human rights, labour rights, environment and anti-corruption.
As an intern, you will work with the programmes team on tasks spanning thematic analysis and member capacity-building. The role sits at the intersection of sustainability practice and knowledge development, with exposure to international frameworks such as CSRD, TNFD, SBTi and the SDGs.
Key tasks:
- Support the development and delivery of capacity-building programmes for member companies, including courses, webinars, seminars and peer learning forums
- Assist in preparing background materials and substantive content for events and member-facing activities
- Contribute to the organisation's policy and advocacy-related activities, including research, analysis and preparation of written materials
Preferred qualifications:
- Strong interest in sustainability governance and international frameworks
- Analytical and writing skills in English; Norwegian is an advantage for full participation in organisational activities
- Ability to work independently on substantive tasks
