Collaborations
Translational cancer research requires collaborations between clinicians and researchers with different background and expertise as well as between different academic environments.

The researchers at Mohn Cancer Research Laboratory have a close collaboration with several departments and sections associated with Haukeland University Hospital (Department of Oncology and Medical Physics, Surgical Clinic, Women's Clinic, Centre for Medical Genetics and Molecular Medicine and Section for Cancer Genomics) and the University of Bergen (Department of Clinical Medicine , Department of Clinical Science and The Department of Biomedicine at the Medical Faculty).
On a daily basis, research at Mohn Cancer Research Laboratory is performed through collaborations between clinicians, lab technical staff, PhD students, PostDocs and professors. This constitutes a good foundation for benefitting from the wide range of academic expertise that exists in this field in Bergen.
We also have a close collaboration with the other cancer departments in Norway.
In addition, we have established good collaborations with several national and international research groups (see fact box).
