Exploring Authorship and Intermediality in Tim Crouch's Theatre

Yagmur Atlar is a PhD student at Linnaeus University, Vaxjö, Sweden. Her research "(De)polarised Borders and Digitalised Environments: Intermedial Enactment on Nature and Human Ecology in Contemporary Theatre," focuses on intermediality and digitalization in contemporary theatre, mainly in Tim Crouch's and Chantal Bilodeau's plays. 

Yagmur will delve into the works of renowned playwright Tim Crouch, specifically his plays An Oak Tree and Truth's a Dog Must to Kennel, which will be performed by Crouch at Festspillene i Bergen on the 24th, 25th, 26th, and 27th of May. She will discuss the shifting dynamics of authorship in Crouch's plays and the concept of intermediality. Yagmur is affiliated with the Linnaeus University Centre for Intermedial and Multimodal Studies (IMS) and the research group Multimodality and Intermediality: Humanist Research in a Digital World (MIDWorld).
