Theatre

Den Nationale Scene (DNS)

Through a partnership with Den Nationale Scene, UiB is able to offer employees significantly discounted tickets for selected performances on specific dates. The offer includes productions for both adults and children.

Fyllingsdalen Theatre

The Welfare Committee offers discounted tickets for selected performances at Fyllingsdalen Theatre. Most productions are aimed at children and families.

Museums

Bergen Maritime Museum

During the winter season, UiB employees can visit the Bergen Maritime Museum at half price on Thursdays from October through April. Admission is NOK 80. On these days, the museum is open from 11:00 to 18:00, and lectures are often arranged alongside the regular exhibitions.
The discount applies to employees only and does not extend to accompanying guests. Employees must present a valid staff ID card to receive the discounted admission.

Guided Walking Tours

Join a guided walking tour of Bergen. An experienced guide will take you through the city, sharing fascinating facts and stories about Bergen, its notable historical figures, and the places visited during the tour. Information about upcoming tours will be distributed through the Welfare Committee’s mailing list.
