Study trip to Bergen

The Conservative Party's (Høyre) municipal council group in Bærum went on a study trip to Bergen last week. When our alumnus Morten Skauge reached out, requested a meeting with us, we naturally said yes! The delegation was briefed on the implementation of citizen panels and the experiences from a citizen panel in Bergen. They also received a presentation of new findings from the politician panel by DIGSSCORE, as well as an overview of research and study programs at the Department of Government. The meeting sparked engaging discussions on women's participation in politics, the factors that encourage poiticians to stay in office, and how citizens can be involved in significant local political matters
