Congratulations to our associate professor Esther Song, who has been elected as a delegate for the Momentum program at UiB for 2025-26. As a participant, she will receive 100,000 NOK in operational funds that can be used for career development activities such as mentoring, travel, networking, research stays, and workshops. Esther will also attend mandatory seminars throughout the year.
WHAT IS MOMENTUM?
Momentum is UiB’s flagship development programme for early stage researchers - postdocs, researchers or assosciated professors – who wish to pursue an academic career at a research university.
The program aims to strengthen participants’ career development and equip them with tools to become more independent researchers and research leaders within a research university. The seminars cover topics such as research quality, impact and effects, research leadership, internationalization, and grant writing.
