Ishtiaq Jamil from the department has been the editor of a handbook that was published in June 2025! The book, "Routledge Handbook of public Policy in the Global South", takes a closer look at the Global South through policy-specific case studies and comparative analyses. The book features several skilled authirs, all of whom bring diverse experiences and perspectives. This diversity provides a solid foundation for better understanding political situatons in the Global South. Gedion Onyango, the book`s co-editor, har previously been affiliated with the Department of Government, having completed his master`s degree here in 2012.
