Main content

Abstract: Recent advances in genomics and imaging have made it easy to collect molecular and cellular profiling data from a large number of samples. To find hidden structures within such large datasets, and for making accurate predictions, modern machine learning methods such as deep learning have emerged as promising options. In this lecture, I will discuss some of the recent developments in the field of molecular biology that utilize various forms of deep learning algorithms.
