“It is wonderful and thoroughly well-deserved that Professor Nathalie Reuter has been elected as a member of EMBO,” says Inge Jonassen, Head of the Department of Informatics. “Reuter has been highly innovative in the development and application of computational methods to model and understand how proteins and membranes function together, and her contributions have been numerous and significant. It has been a pleasure to follow Reuter’s career over many years in Bergen. She has impressed with her commitment to quality, both in her own work and in the research group she has built.”

Nathalie is a Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Head of the Computational Biology Unit (CBU) at the Department of Informatics. The Reuter group's research uses molecular modeling and simulation to investigate the structure and function of proteins.

“I would like to warmly congratulate Professor Reuter on her prestigious membership in EMBO,” says Magne Sydnes, Head of the Department of Chemistry. “This shows that Reuter’s research is being recognized far beyond Norway’s borders. Thoroughly well deserved!”

Congratulations, Nathalie!
