Act on Offshore Monitoring, ACTOM

Professor at the Faculty of Law, Sigrid Eskeland Schütz, is participating in the Horizon 2020 funded interdisciplinary project, ACTOM.

CENTENOL

The Centre on the Europeanisation of Norwegian Law (CENTENOL) will meet the need to generate new knowledge about the impact of European Economic Area (EEA) law on Norwegian law. CENTENOL is co-funded by the Research Council of Norway.

CHILDCRIM

CHILDCRIM is a five-year project on assessments about children's criminal insanity and violence risk, funded by The Research Council of Norway.

Criminal accountability and mental disorders around the world

Pilot project investigating how selected countries in the Global South deal with mental disorders in the criminal law. The project is funded by a CMI/UiB collaboration grant.

Database for Child Protection Judgements

BARN-NEMND is a research infrastructure project for county board decisions in child welfare matters. The project is led by professor Camilla Bernt.

Designing a Refined Legal Framework for Offshore Wind in the North Sea Basin (DeWindSea)

Professor Sigrid Eskeland Schütz has received grants from Akademiaavtalen to do research on the legal framework on offshore wind in the North Sea Basin. The project is funded over a four year period, until 2024.

Fundamental Concepts of Tax Law in a New Age is a project established by the Norwegian Tax Administration and the University of Bergen. It is led by Henrik Skar, a postdoctoral fellow at the Faculty of Law.

Governing Offshore Wind (GOV-WIND)

Governing Offshore Wind is an international 6-year research project led by Ignacio Herrera Anchustegui. The project examines the legal challenges in regulating offshore wind production.

HyValue

The Faculty of Law is partner in HyValye - a Centre for Environment-friendly Energy Research (FME). HyValue is coordinated by Norce and funded by The Research Council of Norway.

Issues of Domestic Prosecution of War Crimes in Ukraine

Project aiming to legally asses issues of the prosecution of war crimes in the context of the Russo-Ukrainian War. The project is conducted by Artem Nazarko and is funded under the EU’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions scheme.

The Norwegian Code of the Realm 1274 - project (2014-2024)

The Code of 1274-project aims at researching the making of the Norwegian Code of the Realm of 1274, and its European and Norwegian legal historical context.

Polycentric Climate Governance in Action

This project is a part of the overarching LEG-ARCH project (Legal Architecture of Climate Politics) which is a collaboration project between the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Social Sciences. The project is led by postdoctoral researcher Cataline Vallejo.

Shaping European Research Leaders for Marine Sustainability

The Faculty of Law is part of SEAS - a fellowship programme at the University of Bergen within marine sustainability. The project has received funding from the EU Horizon 2020 (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action).
