International Day 21 January 2010
At the Faculty of Law we will again host an International Day. The aim is to give our students as much information and inspiration as possible about exchange possibilities.
In January 2009, the Faculty of Law at the University of Bergen hosted our very first International Day. Thanks to visitors from various partner universities, the day was a great success and very useful for our students. The event gained high repute at the rest of the university and has lead to the organising of an International Week at the University of Bergen in January 2010 where all faculties in various ways will focus on internationalisation and exchange possibilities.
Information and inspiration
The Faculty of Law has decided to repeat the success and will host our second International Day on Thursday 21 January 2010. On this day we aim to give our students as much information and inspiration as possible before the internal exchange application deadline in February.
All of our partner universities are invited to participate on International Day. By giving a presentation of their university and/or having a stand, they have the possibility of providing our students with information about the exchange possibilities and the study program at their faculty.
Recruiting and bonding
In the evening of 21 January the faculty will host a social gathering for all international guests. Hence, in addition to recruiting future students, this event is also a good opportunity to meet colleagues from other universities.
We sincerely hope that as many as possible of our colleagues from our partner universities would like to attend our International Day, and are coming to Bergen in January.

|Exchange possibilities at the Faculty of Law
The Faculty of Law has exchange agreements with more than 90 Law Faculties abroad. We aim to broaden our commitments in terms of student exchange programmes.
2004/2005: 48 students went abroad
2008/2009: 122 students went abroad
Today almost 1/3 of all Law students at the University of Bergen choose to study abroad during their study.
