Wind energy has a very high potential for improvement, especially with regard to wake effects of the turbines within large wind farms. This work focuses the emphasis on potential of aerodynamically optimized wind park layouts and wake steering through yaw angle control.

The 7th conference on interdisciplinary teamwork skills for the 21st century, will be held in Bergen, Norway on 27th-28th April 2023.
In January, the Pandemic Centre offers a two-week course for students on learning from the COVID-19 pandemic. The course builds on last year's digital module and is open to all students at master's and PhD level.
In a solemn ceremony in the University Hall, the eight new honorary doctors at UiB were honored. They received the award for their outstanding work for science.
2 – 4 May the Grieg Research Centre together with the composition class of the Grieg Academy arranged a concert and seminar led by Dániel Péter Biró will present results of our project on Lost Jewish musical heritage in Bergen, Norway, Scandinavia. The project is supported by strategic project development funds of the Faculty of Fine Art, Music, and Design at the University of Bergen. 
Chr. Michelsen Institute and the University of Bergen have a long-standing agreement to strengthen development-related research in Bergen. We now invite applications for collaboration between our two institutions for 2022-2023. Deadline 15 June, 2022.
In january the Pandemic Centre will offer a two-weeks course for students to learn from the Covid-19 pandemic. The course is open to both PhD-students and Master students from all diciplines at the university.
The first joint article from the Pandemic Centre as a unit has now been published in Scandinavian Journal of Public Health.
The launch at the University Aula concluded with two large panels representing the diversity of scientific milieus tackling global challenges in Bergen. Together they will work to make Bergen the place of choice for students seeking knowledge and skills to help solve global challenges.
