Main content

Here we keep some of the least hardy cultivars, those needing special attention to be able to survive. The star among these jewels is ‘Lem’s Cameo’, which needs frequent fertilizing to ensure good flowering.

Here you also find several cultivars with R. ciliatum and R.edgeworthii in their parentage. These species have been used to create low-growing, decorative plants, but they are generally too frost-sensitive for our climate. They need mild and well protected sites. The only one seen here which can also be recommended for more general use, is ‘Sanderling’, which is also found in the collection ‘25 The windy corner’.
