Conference format
Paper presentation
A paper presentation is an oral presentation of the aspects you wish to discuss. Each presenter will have 15 minutes to present a clear argument or case, followed by a 5-minute discussion with the audience. Participants are encouraged to use presentation tools, such as PowerPoint, to make the oral presentation more accessible. Speakers will be provided with brief guidelines on how to design inclusive and accessible oral presentations. As paper presentations often lead to passivity amongst the audience, you must ensure that your presentation is engaging and concise.
Poster presentation
The poster sessions consist of six to eight posters. Poster authors will give a brief overview of no more than 2 minutes to the audience gathered as a group, followed by an in-depth discussion between them and the audience. Poster sessions give researchers the opportunity to present their work in a visual format and provide more opportunities for interaction and discussion. Your poster must be in A0 portrait format and must be delivered to the conference venue by 8.30 am on the day of the conference.
