Principles and Practices in Transdisciplinary Sustainability Scholarship

Maureen Reed is Distinguished Professor and UNESCO Co-Chair in Biocultural Diversity, Sustainability, Reconciliation and Renewal at the University of Saskatchewan. She has a focus on governance for environmental and social sustainability, social dimensions of climate hazards and adaptation, and transdisciplinary research which weaves multiple forms of knowledge.
She will be presenting her recent work on guiding principles for sustainability transdisciplinary research, as well as her international research training partnership in transdisciplinary sustainability science and education.
The seminar will last from 15:00 - 15:45. Afterwards, there is time for questions and disussions. Coffee and buns will be served.
