Three Perspectives of working with the GBF
CeSAM researchers Inger Måren and Katja Malmborg present the process of, and preliminary results from, their resilience asessment at The Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities' Sustainability Friday on December 13.

Main content
The Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework was signed in December 2022, and is an example of an agreement that outlines holistic strategies to manage and protect nature for future generations in a sustainable way. It is apparent from the agreement, and the Norwegian governments' related action plan, that a lot of the responsibility falls onto the municipalities. But how can the municipalities follow up on this responsibility? What kind of development will hold for the future, and how can the municipalities contribute?
This is what partners from the BIOSPHERE project will address at The Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities' Sustainability Friday on December 13, titled "Sustainable nature management - how do we do it?". During this webinar, we'll hear from Alexander Helle and Maya Greve from Alver municipality, Nordhordland Biosphere Reserve coordinator Kari Evensen Natland, and sustainability scientists Inger Måren and Katja Malmborg from CeSAM about how they have worked with GBF and the municipality during the autumn of 2024.
