Booking and Prices

The FLOW facility is an independent facility at Department of Clinical Science. Booking of the instruments are done via
Bookitlab https://ecore.bookitlab.com/uib/
To be able to order services and reserve instruments, user of MIC, PROBE, BiSS and Flow Cytometry have to use the booking system BookitLab. BookitLab is common for all facilities at UiB that have implemented it, so users only have to register once.
- Users with UiB-affiliation log in with their Feide credential.
- Other users have to contact mic@uib.no for help with the initial login.
- All users have to be assigned a project before they have access to reserve any services.
Prices
Fees are set to cover the cost required for use of the instruments, service contract, and salary. The booking time on the cell sorter and and analyser unsupervised or supervised is minimum 1 hr (except Accuri C6). It takes 30min-1hr to set up the sorter before sorting and cleaning takes 15-20 minutes. All prices are pr hour.
