Do you have a colleague who is passionate about the work environment? Or would you like to become a safety delegate? You can now nominate candidates for the role.

The election of safety delegates at the University of Bergen (UiB) for the 2027-2028 term is now underway. At UiB, safety delegates ae elected at all levels, and all employees may nominate candidates for the following positions:

Local Safety delegatets
Chief Safety delegates at faculties/museum/library/sentral administration
The University's Chief Safety Delegate

Safety delegtes play an important role for the workplace, colleagues, and employer. UiB's safety delegates are the employees' representatives in matters concerning the working environment and are engaged, proactive, and well qualified.

UiB Safety delegates:

Are important partners for management in the systematic health, safety and environment (HSE) work
Have access to a supportive network with regular meetings
Receive professional development opportunities and competence-building measures

to the local safety delegate election by the 20th of September

to the main safety delegate election by the 14th of October

to the university’s chief safety delegate by the 28th of October
