Are you a PhD candidate at the Department of Informatic? See "Relevant links" below, you will find everything you need.

The Department of Informatics offers research training at the doctoral level, organized in the research school ICT.

For information about admission procedures and requirements, please see: PhD at UiB.

Note that in order to become eligible for admission and enrol as a PhD candidate, you must first have secured funding that covers both living costs and the costs relating to the research project for the entire doctoral training period. This could be a university fellowship of three or four years, a scholarship from the Research Council of Norway or another external funding source.

It is only possible to enrol as a PhD candidate after you have been appointed to a PhD fellowship.

Positions for PhD fellowships are usually called "research fellow". Whenever we have available research fellow positions, these are announced at our department web pages and at jobbnorge.no. Please also see: Career at UiB.
