Half-way Presentation

As required by the Plan of Action for PhD education at the University of Bergen, the Department of Chemistry has implemented a half-way presentation (HWP) for all PhD candidates at the department. All PhD candidates must complete the HWP at the mid-point of their PhD education, i.e. after 3 semesters for candidates without teaching duty and after 4 semesters for candidates with teaching duty.

Main content

The candidate and the principal supervisor submit a pre-HWP report to the committee. The forms are presented below.

Please download and submit the completed report forms to the departmental PhD coordinator no later than 3 working days before the HWP date to the PhD Coordinator.
