Professor Eystein Jansen from the University of Bergen has served as Vice-President of the European Research Council (ERC) since 2023 and has been a member of the ERC Scientific Council since 2019.

As he now concludes his term in the ERC leadership, he wishes to share his unique insights into the Scientific Council’s work with potential applicants and their advisors, as well as with colleagues, ERC grantees, and the institutions that host them across Norway.

The University of Bergen therefore invites researchers, leaders, support staff, and ERC grantees in Norway to a seminar on European research and the ERC.
