The Botany of Christmas - exhibition at Blondehuset
Join us for an atmospheric Advent exhibition in the Arboretum. Spice plants that give off the scent of Christmas, traditional nuts and fruits, and of course Christmas decorations.

The exhibition is presented in Blondehuset at the Arboretum at Milde. Here you can see and smell plants and spices that are an essential part of Christmas. We focus on the classic Christmas plants, what they look like and where they come from.
The exhibition is divided into:
Smak av jul - the taste of Christmas - where we will look at the Christmas spices used in various pastries
Nøtter og frukter - nuts and fruits - where we will discuss Christmas treats and their uses
Juleblomster - Christmas flowers - with a focus on which plants we use to decorate
The exhibition is open to everyone, Blondehuset from November 29th to December 28th.
Open weekdays: 10:00 - 14:30, Saturday and Sunday 12:00 - 15:00.
Mulled wine will be served on the weekend
