About the Faculty
Departments
The Faculty of Medicine consists of five departments.
The Department of Biomedicine
At the Department of Biomedicine, education and research center on the biological mechanisms of human health and disease. We have 5 research units, 22 research groups, three core facilities, a master's program and a popular academic lecture series.
Department of Clinical Medicine
Department of Clinical Dentistry
Department of Clinical Science
Department of Clinical Science aims to conduct research, guidance and teaching at a high international level. The department has important tasks in the training of new doctors, master degree programs, and PhD education within medicine and pharmacy.
Department of Global Public Health and Primary Care
The Department of Global Public Health and Primary Care (IGS) undertakes research and research training in a wide spectrum of disciplines including: physiotherapy, occupational medicine, epidemiology, social pharmacy, genetic counselling, statistics, nursing, ethics and general practise.
