An honorary doctor at UiB

Prof. Anne Canteaut is the scientific leader of the project-team SECRET at INRIA (National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation), and the chair of the Inria Evaluation Committee. She becomes one of the ten honorary doctors at the University of Bergen in 2019.

Professor Anne Canteaut becomes one of the ten honorary doctors at the University of Bergen in 2019 (Info. Source: https://www.uib.no/aktuelt/129548/utnevner-10-nye-%C3%A6resdoktorer).  She is one of the world's leading cryptologists and her research interests mainly lie in symmetric cryptography.

Prof. Anne Canteaut has been in close collaboration with the Selmer Center on scientific research and conference organizations. We would like to congratulate her for being an honorary doctor at the University of Bergen. 

"It is gratifying that talented and visible women like Anne Canteaut act as role models for young women", says Helge K. Dahle, the Dean of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science, at his blog. The department gratulates Anne in this article  (in Norwegian) and arranges several activities to celebrate with her.
