Prof. Lilya Budaghyan, together with our adjunct professors Claude Carlet, Vincent Rijnmen, and senior researcher George Petrides, has got a new research grant "Cryptographic Boolean Functions and Threshold Implementations (BoolTI)" from the Research Council of Norway. Congratulations!!!

We have invented new methods to construct optimal cryptographic Boolean functions and created new families of optimal functions.
Prof. Anne Canteaut is the scientific leader of the project-team SECRET at INRIA (National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation), and the chair of the Inria Evaluation Committee. She becomes one of the ten honorary doctors at the University of Bergen in 2019.
Prof. Vincent Rijmen was elected as a Fellow of IACR in 2019 "for co-designing AES, contributions to the design and cryptanalysis of symmetric primitives, and service to the IACR" Congratulations to Vincent!
