Olaug has written since she was 19 years old, she has always liked to write and wrote a lot over the years. At Heimly Folkehøgskule she sent a manuscript to a publisher – and suddenly she had become a published author. Nilssen has recently published the book, “Tung tids tale” - a story of how it is to be the mother of a child with autism.
The project 'Norwegian music meets Slovakia' is part of the EU exchange program, and organized by the Academy of Performing Arts Bratislava together with the Grieg Academy at the University of Bergen. The project is also supported by the Norwegian Embassy in Slovakia.
Consolidator Grants from the European Research Council for excellent research projects.
Three applicants have been granted the BFS Starting Grants 2017. In total, the projects, that covers the middle age, mathematics and the beginning of the universe, get more than 50 million NOK.
