Diploma

When you have completed a degree from the University of Bergen, you will receive a diploma to certify that you have achieved an academic degree. The diploma is issued only once.

When you have completed a bachelor's degree or a master's degree form the University of Bergen, you will receive a diploma to certify that you have acheived an academic degree. The diploma is a certificate of your qualification, and is issued only once. In addition, you will receive a Diploma Supplement with a Transcript of Records.

The diploma provides information about the course of study you have completed, and lists all courses that are part of your degree. A bachelor's degree from the University of Bergen consists of 180 ECTS-credits, a master's degree consists of 120 ECTS-credits, and the professional studies in psychology consists of 360 ECTS-credits.

The Faculty of Psychology issues the diploma after the deadlines for appeals are passed. The diploma will be sendt by mail in the course of the following semester, after the study programme was completed. Please update your current address at the Studentweb if you move after you have completed your studies.

Important:

If you have appealed against a grade, the diploma will not be issued until the appeal has been decided. If you appeal against a grade after having received the diploma, the diploma must behanded in to the faculty before the appeals committee can do the regrading.

If your diploma is lost, you may ask the faculty to issue a duplicate. However, your results and your digital diploma confirmation are also available to you in the Diploma Registry. You may also generate a transcript of records from the Studentweb.
