Peptidomimetics - drugs for the future (18.06.2014)
By developing molecules which are able to regulate serine proteases, the phd work of Adnan Budnjo is another step towards developing new medicines against diseases as cancer, diabetes, and COPD. Thursday 19th of June 2014 he defends his thesis “Synthesis of serine protease inhibitors”.

We are proud to announce that Tove Ragna Reksten is the first pharmacist with a degree from the University of Bergen to become a philosophiae doctor (PhD). This historic event occured on 21st of December, less than ten years after the first students enrolled at Centre for Pharmacy.
National Pharmacy Conference 2012 (12.11.2012)
Quite a few of us travelled to Oslo to take part in the National Pharmacy Conference, which is the largest conference in Norway for the pharmaceutical profession. Our students impressed several of the 600 participants visiting the conference.
