PhD student Annabel Ohldieck presented her research at the European Society of Cardiology congress in Barcelona August 2022. She demonstrated that blood pressure in the forties is more important for risk of hypertension later in life in women than in men.

Appetite genes control how children grow (24.03.2022)
Researchers at Center for Diabetes Research, UiB, have found that the weight of babies is controlled by their genes. The findings provide insight into the mechanisms that control appetite and energy metabolism early in life and can help us find better treatment for obesity in adolescence and adulthood.
