Welcome to an input meeting about the new strategy at UiB.
The process of writing UiB's new strategy has started
As part of the work with the new strategy, the rectorate will invite all students and employees to an input meeting.
Time: Friday, March 25 at 1215-1415.
Venue: Auditorium 1, Faculty of Law, Magnus Lagabøtes plass 1

“I would like to encourage students and staff to use this opportunities to participate in the university democracy, and to help shape the direction the University of Bergen will take in the years to come”, says Rector Margareth Hagen.
The current strategy expires in 2022. The new strategy will apply for the period 2023-2030. The university's overall strategy should say something about the institution's values and goals for the current period and is thus one of UiB's most important value documents.
“The strategy will say something about what kind of direction we want to develop in as a research-intensive university, and what ambitions we have for the knowledge we will create”, says Margareth Hagen.
The input meeting is open to all students and employees. There will be introductions by professor Nele Meckler, postdoctoral fellow John Magnus Ragnhildson Dahl, head of administration Jorunn Skei, and from a student (TBA).
