UiB Professor elected chair of the Scientific committee for European Global Health Undertaking
Prof. Harleen Grewal will be leading the scientific committee of the European EDCTP3Global Health Joint Undertaking.

The news was officially announced during the General Board meeting in Kigali, Rwanda, in the presence of stakeholders and EDCTP board members, Sunday June 15th.
“I feel deeply honored and privileged to take on this role”, says Grewal.
“As Chair of the Scientific Committee, I will work closely with fellow scientific members to help shape the strategic scientific direction of EDCTP3, ensuring that the program’s investments uphold the highest standards of scientific excellence and global health relevance”, she says.
Grewal work as a Professor at the Department of Clinical Science.
The Vice Dean of Research at the Faculty, and future Dean, Marit Bakke, says that this is a big honor for the faculty as well:
