Fredrik Manne
- The better it goes, the more fun it is! (05.07.2017)
This is a message to new students from our (very own) professor Fredrik Manne, who was recently appointed outstanding lecturer. Well deserved for a professor with 20 years of experience, who is passionate about his field and is loved by his students. The man who walks into the auditorium with anticipation, loves teaching and puts his students first. This is what we call excellent teaching!

Professor Michael Fellows has been appointed as a Companion of the Order of Australia.

Bioinformatics: New research school at the University of Bergen (28.10.2015)
The new research school NORBIS aims to improve the PhD training in bioinformatics and biostatistics. Improved methods to gain more biological insight into the growing amount of biological data is the goal of the project.

The PhD education at the Department of informatics is organized under The Research School in Information and Communication Technology. Every year the school invites to a seminar where the PhD students learn presentation techniques and learn about each other's research.

Informatics relay team number 46 of 162 (29.04.2013)
