On Wednesday, 18 February, the official opening of the Mohn Centre for Neuroprotection took place in the University Aula. The centre will conduct groundbreaking research on brain disorders such as Parkinson’s disease and dementia.

Peter Fahlstedt defended his thesis for the PhD-degree at the University of Bergen 6th of February 2026. The title of the thesis is: "Decontamination of titanium dental implants assisted by doublewavelength laser irradiation - In vitro studies on optimizing and validating Er,Cr:YSGG and diode laser protocol setups".
