Ine and Emilie were attending a project course priming them for lab work. They ended up co-developing a method to quality control a cell model which is used by thousands of researchers worldwide.
CIH researchers Susanna Myrnerts Höök, Nicolas Pejovic and Thorkild Tylleskär have conducted a large, randomized trial to test re-purposing a tool for neonatal resuscitation. The tool, the laryngeal mask airway (LMA) is relatively easy to use, which is an important factor in low resource settings.
BCEPS researcher Kjell Arne Johansson participated in an international panel discussion hosted by the Geneva Centre of Humanitarian Studies on 11 November 2020.

Nils Halberg from the Department of Biomedicine will receive almost 8 million kroner from the Norwegian Cancer Society for his research on obesity and pancreatic cancer.
The launch at the University Aula concluded with two large panels representing the diversity of scientific milieus tackling global challenges in Bergen. Together they will work to make Bergen the place of choice for students seeking knowledge and skills to help solve global challenges.
