Former CCBIO Postdoc Agnete Engelsen was awarded a FRIPRO mobility grant from NFR/ MCA COFUND and is currently resident in France with her family to embark on exciting research projects with distinguished collaborators at Gustave Roussy Cancer Campus Grand Paris. We asked her to report of her life in beautiful Paris.

On 11 March 2018 a satellite meeting was held to explore opportunities and mechanisms to foster and strengthen linkages between CISMAC partner scientists. 18 participant from 9 partner institutions in India, Nepal, Pakistan, Uganda, Zambia and Norway participated.

Thursday 12th of April Sunita Sharma defended her doctoral dissertation "Adenoviral Mediated Gene Delivery in Mesenchymal Stem Cells for Bone Tissue Engineering".

The CCBIO Director Lars A. Akslen was recently awarded as Honorary Member of the Norwegian Society of Pathology (DNP). Akslen has former been chairman of the association during two periods, 2008-2012.
